Wild City
Singapore is one of the world's most rapidly growing cities. It was once a tropical jungle, but now it is 665 square kilometers of hustle and bustle, concrete, and air conditioning. But there is a wild side nestled among the urban sprawl; places where pangolins, crocodiles, monkeys, otters, snakes, and hornbills coexist with skyscrapers and boardwalks. This series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, investigates how nature has evolved within the confines of this bustling metropolis. Wild City explores the various habitats found in and around the built-up urban sprawl before journeying around the island's hidden wildlife hotspots – from the overlooked interior to the inaccessible coastline and islands that have become unplanned sanctuaries for Singapore's natural heritage.
