Jamaica Inn
Set in 18-20 against windswept Cornish moors' calling backdrop, the narrative follows the journey of spirited and young Mary who's made to live with her Aunt Patience following the departure of her mum. Mary gets to the Jamaica Inn that is isolated to detect her Aunt instead finds, and is a casing of this woman she recalls from her youth. The Inn does not have any guests - that the rooms have been locked and kept for storage - however it soon becomes evident that it's a pay, as Joss could be the leader of a smuggling ring, along with Jamaica Inn the hub of the'free' trade.
