Fire Force
In the year 198 of the Solar Era, in the city of Tokyo, specialized fire brigades are engaged in a battle against a phenomenon known as spontaneous human combustion. This phenomenon transforms human beings into living inferno-like creatures known as "Infernals." Later generations of Infernals have the ability to manipulate flames while still maintaining their human form. The Infernals themselves are the first generation of cases of spontaneous human combustion. Shinra Kusakabe, a young man who was given the nickname "Devil's Footprints" because of his ability to spontaneously ignite the soles of his feet, joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 in their mission to put out any Infernals they come across. Along with the other members of this group, Shinra Kusakabe has the ability to spontaneously ignite the soles of his feet. Shira is getting closer to discovering the truth about a mysterious fire that occurred twelve years ago and resulted in the death of his family. This coincides with the appearance of a sect that is making Infernals.
