Dragon Booster

Dragon Booster is a Canadian animated television series that debuted in 2004. It tells the narrative of young Artha Penn, a stable boy who rides the legendary dragon Beaucephalis. He becomes a Dragon Booster, a hero tasked with saving the planet from an oncoming Dragon-Human war and permanently uniting humans and dragons. Many of the characters are named after characters from King Arthur's stories. The name Artha Penn is a play on words for Arthur Pendragon. Moordryd represents Mordred Le Fey, and Lance Penn represents Lancelot. This show is created in cel shaded CGI. Because the series has not produced any new episodes and has no intentions to do so due to cancellation, fans have created numerous internet petitions in the hopes of gaining entry into the second incarnation Dragon Booster Academy.
