Anne of Green Gables is an animated television series. It was adapted from the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. It was broadcast on Fuji TV from January 7, 1979 to December 30, 1979. Fifty episodes were manufactured in total.
It has been exported to Asian nations to Europe and Canada. Like all the books, the animated version of Anne is far cherished in Japan to this very day and"DVD memorial BOX collection" premiered on August 22, 2008 along with a new anime series which functions as a prequel to the series, Kon'nichiwa Anne ?
