Warmed-Over Krautrock
What do you do when you enjoy songs, and also songs does not love you back? It's a concern that haunts Walt (Jim Tavaré), the proprietor of Essential Music, an indie record shop in the heart of Silver Lake. Walt's all too aware of how his punk-rock splendor days are fast fading in the rear-view - also as he can not help stating war tales to his much younger employees: Lysette (Kate Dalton), who has to contend with a parade of customers convinced she's the Record Store Girl of their desires; Chris (Derek James Elstro), the diva of Distressed Meats, a band positioned for departure, and also possibly not simply in Chris' mind; and also well-meaning music nut Duane (Adam Weber), who's a little as well proficient in Rock Doubter for his very own excellent. With a love of all kinds of songs noticeable in every shot, WARMED-OVER KRAUTROCK is a funny for anyone who's ever invested excessive time stressing over playlists - as well as for any individual who's ever been maddened by that sort of individual, too.
