Toba Tek Singh
The story takes place just before the India-Pakistan partition at another of the earliest mental asylums in India. It was home to Muslim, Hindu and Sikh patients who were left by their families that are uncaring. Friendships had been thick between the patients who had no one but each other for the company. Each had a story that made for a more intriguing tale but not one like Bishan Singh.
