The Last of the Finest
The L.A.P.D. fires an elite group of vice cops for being overly aggressive in their drug war. Some of their superiors are obviously involved in the drug ring. Four of the banned cops (which quickly becomes three when one is killed early) band together to fight the drug ring undercover. They obtain funds for weapons by robbing minor drug dealers. Then, well-armed, they go after the kingpin (Boyd).
