It's South Africa 1990. Two main events are about to happen: The release of Nelson Mandela and it's Spud Milton's first year at an elite boys private boarding school. John Milton is just actually a boy by a normal desktop who wins a scholarship to an exclusive school in kwazulu natal, South Africa. Inspired by boys using nick names like Rain Man, Rambo, Gecko and Mad Dog, Spud has his hands full attempting to adapt to his new home. Over the way Spud takes his first steps. (The trail it seems could be a quite long trail ). Spud is a single child. He's cursed with parents from well beyond a senile granny and the lunatic fringe. His dad can be a who is paranoid that your family worker is owning a shebeen . His mother is a teen's worst nightmare and a free spirit, whether it's searching for the underwear at the supermarket of Spud
