Pulse 2: Afterlife
The world was reshaped by the intrusion of ghosts via the internet. Cities are abandoned, tech was destroyed and the few remaining humans eschew anything electric to be able to avert a confrontation with the ghosts which wander the planet. Most of the ghosts have been doomed to some repetitive loop of something they did while they were still despairing humans (a man hangs himself, for example), however you can find a few ghosts so locked in captivity, they do not understand they have been dead. They continue to infect their houses, wrapped in panic that their spirits will be torn from their website.
