Poppy Wakefield, a freelance journalist from in England, works from her lovely house in early 2014. When she learns that her husband Stephen is having an affair, her seemingly perfect, if predictable, existence is shattered. She seeks solace from the betrayal by watching a TV segment with George Clooney. George is everything her spouse isn't: sophisticated, amusing, charming, someone who wants to make a difference in the world, and Poppy believes he's her perfect match!
